The presented carpet is the prototype of the famous Azerbaijani carpet of the Karabakh school- Malibeyli. Malibeyli carpets take their name from the name of Malibeyli village, which is located 15 km north of the city of Shusha.The composion of the middle area of the carpet is made up of vercally located lakes. At the center of each lake is a square-shaped element that creates a pool image.In the intermediate area of the presented carpet, there is an image of a "cloud" reminiscent of a dragon above the lakes located in the vercal direcon, which were stylized under leers. The dragon is a symbol of strength, power, goodness, blessing, prosperity. The elements used in the frame are small stars are associated with astral cult worship.The carpet is woven by tradional knoed technology by hand from 100% wool. The colors used correspond to the palee of colors inherent in the Karabakh carpet weaving school. All carpets were produced in the workshops of Azerkhalcha OJSC and woven by our professional women weavers in workshops throughout the regions of Azerbaijan.
