First carpets produced in Fuzuli branch of “Azerkhalcha” OJSC
Fuzuli branch of "Azerkhalcha" OJSC began operating on November 12. About 60 carpets on Karabakh, Shirvan, and Guba patterns are woven here by 150 weavers on 43 looms.
On December 24, weavers Hajiyeva Gulnare, Nabiyeva Narmin, Abushova Saida, Aslanova Naiba, Abbasova Roya, Abbasova Mekhluge, Safarova Gulnare, Hajiyeva Ofelya, and Ahmadova Shelale completed four carpets sized 156x94, 136x99, 118x79, 210x147 (cm) in the branch.
"Azerkhalcha" PJSC Board Chairman Vidadi Muradov noted that "almost all of the carpet weavers are the graduates of "Azerkhalca" carpet-weaving courses who use their experience and skills in the production. Quality carpets are woven under the leadership of professional weavers. The weavers approach their work with enthusiasm and interest. There’s labor competition here. Everyone is trying to knit faster and better, and approaches the job creatively. This, in turn, provides labor productivity. We examined the carpets. The quality is satisfactory. Carpets will be processed and will be included in the database of "Azerkhalcha" as finished products. It is expected that ten more carpets will be finished in the branch by early next year. We hope that gradually the quality indicators will get higher."
In the end, commemorative photos were taken.
